The Canadian Journal of Forestry Research (CJFR) is a peer‑reviewed, open‑access scholarly journal dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge in forestry, environmental sciences, ecological sustainability, climate‑related forest studies, and natural‑resource governance. CJFR operates under the Research & Education Division of the Mian Karam Ellahi Trust (MKET) Canada, a federally incorporated not‑for‑profit organization registered under the Canada Not‑for‑profit Corporations Act (S.C. 2009, c. 23), Corporation Number 1504027‑2.

2. Crossref Membership and DOI Governance
CJFR affirms its intention to register and manage Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) through Crossref, Crossref DOI Prefix of MKET Canada is 10.68513 and for CJFR is created by including CJFR. CJFR will:
Assign Crossref DOIs to all its journal articles, issues, and volumes
Follow Crossref’s rules, regulations, and metadata quality requirements
Maintain DOI resolution and long‑term stewardship
Participate in Crossref’s ethical and technical compliance framework
